KASLEBERRY
I am a graphic designer and artist who was born on Long Island, New York, and raised in St. Augustine, Florida. Since 2008, I have been living and working in Ventura, California. Currently, my artistic endeavors revolve around block printing on fabric and paper, as well as experimenting with techniques like ice dyeing, bleach dyeing, and block printing on upcycled clothing. Additionally, I explore the creation of Cyanotype “Sun Prints” on fabric. Throughout my artistic journey, I strive to be environmentally conscious and minimize the use of Earth’s resources.
Having grown up by the Atlantic Ocean, my connection with nature runs deep. The beauty of this planet and the mysteries beyond our universe constantly inspire me. Nature’s influence has been ingrained in my art since a young age. When I immerse myself in the artistic process, I am reminded of the carefree days of my childhood. Exploring colors and lines allows me to find solace in a welcoming and safe space. Sharing my creations with others and leaving a positive impact is my greatest delight.
During my free time, I enjoy spending moments with my husband, two sons, and our dog. We embark on road trips, indulge in surfing, explore mountains, dip in waterfalls, and enjoy skateboarding.
