Art is life. It’s like the breath in my lungs. If I try to hold it back, it will find a way out. Sketches, drawings, paintings, clothing, blankets, stained-glass, wood-carving and more are all part of my creative expression. Art has brought me peace, self-expression, and a community of fellow artists. As a native Californian, I am inspired by our beautiful mountains, skies, and ocean. I love all of nature and find my happiness on hikes and plein-air painting.
I look forward to hosting lessons in the studio. Over the years, I have participated in demonstrations at Art Walks, taught MOPS classes, community art classes as well as private lessons. I enjoy all aspects of the process. I enjoy watching students find their flow and become focused on creating something that is pouring out of them. We all have something to say and a picture is worth a thousand words. 🙂
